With the $50 she got from her father-in-law, she decided to start making Nonya Egg rolls, Kueh Bolus and Nasi Lemak at home for others to sell.

However, things did not go too smoothly for her. There were complaints made about her to AVA and she can no longer make these delicacies. On the other hand, the officer that was assigned to her case was very helpful. He advice Madam Kitti, the proper channel of doing things. And hence KS Food Industries was born. And specializes in producing Chinese New Year Goodies.

Combing her knowledge in traditional Nonya Kueh and Thai Kuehs. And using only the freshest ingredients. KS Food Industries is able to produce Chinese New Year Goodies of the highest quality supplying to Singapore’s premium market.

In addition, Madam Kitti often seeks advice from Mr Peter Wee, who is the owner of Katong Antique house and a representative of Peranakan Association Singapore. He will often advice her on how to improve the taste of her kuehs and what are the areas to improve in.
